Competition: Young science communicators
The BIOPROM science writing prize 2014 is a competition looking for the brightest sparks in Europe to write about the bioeconomy in 1500 words or less. With a European wide pool of participants, the prize provides a springboard into developing careers in both writing and research.
Judged by (amongst others) editors from the global online magazine “The Conversation” (http://theconversation.com/uk), three winners will be awarded with an all-expenses paid trip to COMMNET conference in Brussels on 3rd of December 2014. The first prize winner will be offered the chance to present their work to delegates at the conference, using their work to springboard their career.
Ideas Competition with schools
Partner Fachhochschule Oberösterreich organsises an ideas competition for school children. The winner has been selected now and the Group of students worked on an exhibit which was added to the Mission Possible Exhibition.
New strategy for a sustainable Bioeconomy for Europe
