Competition: Young science communicators

The BIOPROM science writing prize 2014 was a competition looking for the brightest sparks in Europe to write about the bioeconomy in 1500 words or less. With a European wide pool of participants, the prize provides a springboard into developing careers in both writing and research.

Judged by (amongst others) editors from the global online magazine “The Conversation” (, the first winner Inske Groenen was awarded with an all-expenses paid trip to COMMNET conference in Brussels on 3rd of December 2014.

Ideas Competition with schools

Partner Fachhochschule Oberösterreich organsised an ideas competition for school children. The winner group of students worked on an exhibit which was added to the Mission Possible Exhibition.
