The exhibition therefore strengthened the regional awareness of the bioeconomy. Bioprom paved the way for an interactive debate and discussion on bioeconomy.
The BIOPROM exhibition was hosted at Science Centres in Rome, Aberdeen, Wels and Talinn for up to 6 months. It included interactive exhibits where people from young to old can learn about bioeconomy in a simple way. What decisions have long-term positive impact and what negative? The world is too big to see wrong decisons immediatly. In the small world at the exhibition each person had the same pole position to act in this little world.
In addition, the exhibition included a workshop area where the visitors have been informed about selected topics in bioeconomy. It had three main areas of interest: agriculture and fisheries, food and wellbeeing, and biotechnology and life science.
